Luke

Luke is the owner/head brewer at Lake Mac Brewing Co. Since its inception in February 2019, when it opened the doors in October 2020, and still to this day.

Luke has been an avid brewer for nearly 20 years, from his first homebrew setup to the large scale brewery of Lake Mac Brewing Company today. Luke only uses the best materials from Grains sourced locally and from New Zealand, and hops from Europe, United States of America and Australia.

Luke Incorporates the best and most up to date brewing techniques and tools as his disposal. From making the clearest of beer, without the use of a filter and by using naturally sourced products. The beers he brews are of exceptional quality and he prides himself in the beer he brews.

He has been a local to Morisset since 2017 and saw an opportunity to bring a new and exciting venue to Morisset.
His vision saw a venue where everyone could socialize, and not be distracted, and enjoy everyone’s company.

Luke saw the design concept of reusing cable drums as tables, which allows everyone to talk to each other easily and freely, without limitations, to the rustic use of upcycled metal roof sheeting, around the bar area gives the venue a feeling of old times.

Luke’s philosophy is to do things right the first time. The brewery is a commercial 10HL system with technologic advances that are built to last, and make the brewery more automated.
